We are seeking a part-time ELA teacher to fill a leave replacement position at Launch Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. This role involves 100 assigned days throughout the year, with a flexible schedule that requires your presence from September to June. You will not only cover ELA classes but also support students in various capacities as needed.

As a middle school ELA teacher, you will:

•

Plan and deliver daily ELA lessons based on Launch's curriculum.

•

Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain an up-to-date gradebook.

•

Offer constructive feedback on writing to guide students in producing high-quality work.

•

Assess student progress against grade-level standards and adjust instruction accordingly.

•

Support students in projects and conferences, fostering high-quality outcomes.

•

Manage classroom behavior and culture in alignment with our restorative approach.

•

Communicate regularly with families about student progress and concerns.

•

Participate in planning meetings and professional development sessions.

•

Cover various school duties as needed, including arrival, dismissal, and lunch.

•

Collaborate with the teacher on leave to ensure consistent instruction.
