The Role

As part of a dynamic team at ESA/ESTEC, you will be responsible for supporting annual medical examinations, conducting basic laboratory tests, and assisting employees in preparation for examinations. You will also handle triage for medical emergencies, provide first aid, and manage confidential HR data in compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will digitalize medical records and maintain various systems including SAP, Cority, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support annual medical examinations and basic laboratory tests.
• Assist employees in preparation for examinations.
• Triage medical emergencies and provide first aid.
• Repatriate results of biological examinations, ECGs, vision tests, and lung function tests.
• Administer confidential HR data in line with regulations.
• Digitalize medical records and maintain various databases and systems.

Requirements

• Registered nurse in The Netherlands (BIG-register).
• Bachelor level (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a General Practitioner practice.
• High level of flexibility and positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Strong organizational skills and efficient output.
• Proficiency with information technology resources such as SAP, Cority, MS Office applications, and databases.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
