We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our EMEA team in Ede, Netherlands. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who values accuracy and efficiency in payroll services.

The Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you will support payroll activities across multiple EMEA entities, focusing primarily on UK payroll operations. You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and employees across the region.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and process payroll data for multiple EMEA entities, focusing on UK payroll operations.
• Adhere to strict payroll deadlines, coordinating activities internally and with external payroll providers.
• Review payroll input data, validate supporting documentation, and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
• Process monthly salary payments, overtime, holiday pay, statutory payments, bonuses, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Manage timesheet information, including shift premiums, grade changes, and salary adjustments.
• Assist in administering employee share purchase and share award schemes through payroll.
• Partner with HR to handle new starters, leavers, contractual changes, and employee updates.
• Reconcile payroll reports and support employer tax liability payments.
• Facilitate third-party payroll payments, including court orders and charitable donations.
• Administer pension schemes, including auto-enrolment and leaver processing.
• Ensure payroll documentation and submissions comply with local legislative deadlines.
• Produce payroll reports and management information for HR and Finance stakeholders.
• Maintain payroll and HR system records, including holiday entitlement administration.
• Support annual salary review and bonus administration processes.
• Participate in new employee induction activities as needed.
• Address employee, pension provider, and external payroll-related queries promptly.
• Review payroll-related invoices, including pensions and employee benefit costs.
• Liaise with external providers, government bodies, and auditors as needed.
• Assist with payroll compliance reviews and labour tax audits.
• Support ad hoc payroll and administrative activities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of payroll administration experience, preferably in a multi-site or international environment.
• Essential experience in processing UK payroll.
• Preferred experience with external payroll providers.
• Exposure to payroll processes across multiple countries is advantageous.
• A payroll qualification or relevant certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or services-based organizations is beneficial.
