QA Automation Engineer – Remote – EU Citizens Only. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help expand our automated test coverage across web applications and backend services. You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team dedicated to maintaining quality through robust and scalable automation in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automated UI and API test suites using Playwright.
Create and maintain test automation frameworks and supporting code in Java.
Develop and execute test strategies that encompass unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Validate REST APIs and service integrations for functionality and reliability.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery.
Collaborate with developers during Agile/Scrum ceremonies to define test coverage and assess release readiness.

Requirements

Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API testing.
Solid programming skills in Java, including the ability to build and maintain test frameworks.
Experience in testing web applications, REST APIs, and service integrations.
Strong understanding of test design, test strategy, and automated testing practices.
Practical experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or Cursor.
Exposure to performance or load testing tools.
Experience working in distributed or multi-service architectures.
