The Role
As a Probes QA Engineer, you will be crucial to the daily operations concerning probe delivery. You will take full responsibility for the quality of probes, overseeing supplier quality, conducting inspections, and managing probe performance. You will also develop and implement new procedures for qualification and characterization, ensuring they are effectively executed. Collaborating with suppliers, you will align on quality requirements and improvement plans while evaluating probe performance reports from customers to investigate and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Establish clear procedures for all probe quality-related activities.
- Monitor probe quality and identify areas for performance improvement.
- Drive internal quality enhancements and those at suppliers.
Requirements
- Background in mechanical engineering, material engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Preferred experience in the semiconductor industry and part manufacturing.
- Familiarity with clean room environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AFM probes is a plus.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
