We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of our clients on a contract basis. This role focuses on ensuring that software products meet established quality standards through thorough testing and validation.

The Role

You will work closely with development teams to identify defects and verify fixes, ensuring high reliability across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document test cases to validate software functionality and performance. • Identify, report, and track software defects using tracking systems to ensure resolution. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements. • Automate test cases to enhance efficiency and coverage of regression testing. • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the testability of software components.

Requirements

• Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools. • Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans. • Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as Jira or similar tools. • Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies. • Strong analytical skills to diagnose software issues and verify fixes.
