We are seeking a Physics Expert (Postdoc / Junior Professor) to join our client's team on a contract basis. This role involves conducting advanced research in physics with applications to quantum computing, materials science, or theoretical modeling.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and validating theoretical models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, publishing findings, mentoring junior researchers, and analyzing experimental data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate theoretical models to explain physical phenomena or optimize experimental designs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate physics-based solutions into product development or research initiatives. • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals or present results at academic and industry conferences. • Mentor junior researchers or students in physics-related projects and methodologies. • Analyze experimental data to identify trends, validate hypotheses, and propose next steps.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics or a closely related field, focusing on quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, or statistical mechanics. • Experience with computational tools such as Python, MATLAB, or COMSOL for modeling and simulation. • Background in experimental physics, including hands-on experience with laboratory equipment or data acquisition systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex physics-based challenges. • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
