The Role

As a Sales Trader, your daily activities will include:

• Building relationships with leading entities, including utilities, project developers, and corporates.
• Facilitating transactions that align with both client and company standards.
• Aiming to meet and surpass annual sales targets for sustained growth.
• Engaging in trading activities involving renewable power certificates and carbon offsets.
• Managing existing client portfolios while expanding the client base.
• Monitoring shifts in the environmental commodities market to support company growth.
• Innovating commodity deal structures to meet client and company goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in commodities trading, brokering, or business development, preferably in the energy or industrial sectors.
• A self-starter attitude with a passion for continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in feedback exchange.
• A clear commitment to environmental preservation.
• Proficiency in lead generation through various strategies, including cold calling and data analytics.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Amsterdam.
