We are looking for a skilled SAP Developer to contribute to our Education Provisioning product, which enables learners to access the training they have purchased. In this role, you will leverage SAP BTP and AI services to build robust solutions that support training assignments for numerous learners and facilitate seamless access to e-learning resources.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and ABAP, focusing on API design, data modeling, and service consumption. Your work will involve translating business requirements into technical architecture, ensuring cross-team alignment, and optimizing performance in complex system landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications on the SAP BTP using CAP and ABAP.
- Design and implement OData APIs, focusing on performance tracing and query optimization.
- Conduct integration and performance testing using Test Driven Development methodologies.
- Align architecture across teams and develop reuse strategies.
- Integrate AI services into CAP and ABAP, ensuring reliable business outputs.
- Coach and guide other developers on architecture and design principles.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAP/SAP BTP, including Cloud Application Programming Model and Node.js.
- Experience with ABAP and ABAP OO (7.54+) for service maintenance and extension.
- Strong understanding of OData API design and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with AI services integration and prompt engineering.
- Fluent in English with experience in international teams.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SAP AI Stack and tools like Joule Studio and LangGraph.
- Experience with vector databases and AI observability tools.
- Familiarity with SAP API Management and logging tools like Dynatrace and Kibana.
- Understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR).
