The Role

As a Senior Associate in our Transaction & Financial Communications practice, you will be at the forefront of significant corporate events, assisting clients during IPOs, major acquisitions, and complex restructurings. You will collaborate with project teams on strategic communication topics, particularly in the context of M&A transactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams on various strategic communication topics for national and international clients.
• Support the development of strategic positioning measures for companies and boards.
• Advise clients on building strategic stakeholder relations, including media connections.
• Build strong business relationships and inspire stakeholders to achieve high-quality results.
• Drive new ideas and innovative communication formats.
• Create documents for internal and external communications.
• Assist in client acquisition and the development of existing mandates.

Requirements

• Completed university studies with excellent results, regardless of the subject area.
• Several years of relevant experience in journalism, communications, consulting, investor relations, or finance.
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English; experience in an English-speaking country is a plus.
• Strong text competence and communication skills.
• Good understanding of economic and political contexts, sound judgment, and strong personal commitment.
• Excellent people and project management skills, with confidence in networking.
• Basic understanding of financial obligations of listed companies.
