Senior Associate, Valuation Services at Kroll

Kroll's Valuation Services practice is looking for a motivated Senior Associate to enhance our Amsterdam team. Our professionals deliver independent valuation advice for financial reporting, tax, transactions, restructuring, litigation, and strategic decision-making. Collaborating with leading private equity firms, corporates, financial institutions, and legal advisors, we provide critical analyses across diverse industries and asset classes.

De Rol

As a Senior Associate, you will manage complex valuation engagements, work directly with clients, and contribute to the growth of our practice. You will receive mentorship from experienced Directors and Managing Directors, with clear career progression opportunities within Kroll's global platform.

Additionally, you will support senior team members in business development activities, proposals, and client presentations, and contribute to coaching junior team members and analysts.

•

Perform valuation analyses for public and private companies across various industries and purposes, including financial reporting, tax, transaction support, restructuring, and dispute-related matters.

•

Independently develop and review Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models and other complex financial analyses.

•

Conduct market-based valuation analyses, including trading multiples and precedent transaction analyses.

•

Prepare high-quality valuation reports and presentations for clients, auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.

•

Conduct industry, market, competitor, and company-specific research to support valuation conclusions.

•

Interact directly with clients to gather information, discuss assumptions, and manage engagement workflows.

•

Collaborate with colleagues across Kroll's international network on cross-border engagements.

Vereisten

•

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

•

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in valuation, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, accounting advisory, or a similar environment.

•

Strong experience in independently building and reviewing DCF models and determining appropriate assumptions.

•

Experience performing market approach analyses, including trading comparable and transaction comparable analyses.

•

Experience drafting valuation reports and communicating conclusions to clients and other stakeholders.

•

Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills.

•

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch language skills are required.

•

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

•
