About the Company

Nippon Recruitment specializes in global recruitment, particularly for Japanese companies. We are representing a leading global producer of medical devices, headquartered in Japan, seeking a Senior Corporate Planning Manager fluent in both Japanese and English.

The Role

In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in developing and executing the EMEA business plan in close collaboration with commercial, financial, and legal teams, aimed at enhancing business performance and driving sales growth across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual, mid-term, and long-term business and financial plans.
• Support and coordinate strategic planning cycles, including annual budgets, quarterly reports, and mid-term strategies.
• Track and adjust performance metrics across the EMEA region.
• Facilitate monthly reporting to the management team.
• Support business reviews with senior management.
• Manage corporate governance standards across EMEA.

Requirements

To be considered for this diverse and challenging role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, supporting business planning in international companies, with a proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Fluency in both English and Japanese, written and spoken, is essential.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of market research, data analysis, and business performance drivers.
• Broad knowledge of business operations and processes, including corporate governance and management rules.
• Experience in FMCG or healthcare is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in an international environment.
