As a Senior Design Engineer, you will prototype AI-native concepts in code rapidly and own the end-to-end process of key surfaces, ensuring high-quality execution. Your work will help define what 'good' looks like in AI-assisted output and improve our design and engineering workflows.

- Prototype AI-native ideas in code quickly, transforming concepts from Figma or LLM conversations into production-grade React code.
- Own key surfaces end-to-end, focusing on layout, interaction, motion, accessibility, and performance.
- Define quality standards for AI-assisted output through reviews and reusable patterns.
- Enhance our AI-enabled tools and processes to improve team efficiency.
- Trailblaze the Design Engineer function, shaping how this role operates as the first hire in it.
Vereisten
- Strong experience in both design and front-end engineering, with a portfolio of shipped interfaces or widely-used components.
- Fluency in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and an animation library (e.g., Framer Motion, React Spring).
- Active use of Cursor and Claude Code in your workflow, with a clear perspective on achieving production-quality output.
- Ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and create solutions.
- Comfort with building from scratch and setting direction without a template.
