The Role

As a Senior Field Engineer, you will work closely with the Presales Solution Engineering team, Product, and Marketing to equip them with the necessary tools and expertise to drive business success. Your technical knowledge will be crucial in supporting customer engagements and creating impactful technical content.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate the needs of the Solutions Engineering Team.
• Design, develop, and deliver technical presentations and white papers.
• Create and deliver training materials, product demonstrations, and workshops for customers and the community.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to support customer interactions.
• Become a subject matter expert on our products to assist the field with technical meetings, strategic POVs, blogs, webinars, and more.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience as an SRE, Developer, Architect, or presales Solution Architect.
• Strong understanding of 2-3 technologies in the Observability space (e.g., Grafana, Loki, Prometheus).
• Experience in planning and executing an Observability strategy.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and debugging.
• Working knowledge of Linux and common tools.
• Ability to architect modern applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understand IAC tools like Terraform.
• Experience in creating technical content for audiences, including workshops and webinars.

Compensation & Rewards

In the Netherlands, the annual OTE compensation for this role ranges from €96,000 to €116,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skills. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to foster a sense of ownership in our success.
