We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Engineering team. You will design and implement scalable backend services and intuitive frontend experiences, working with our Nuxt-powered application to enhance Refurbed’s marketplace and mobile applications.

The Role

You will develop scalable, high-performance frontend features using Nuxt, ensuring our web applications meet performance, accessibility, and SEO standards. You will also design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Go that power our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, high-performance frontend features using Nuxt, adhering to best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Go.
• Create high-traffic, user-facing pages ensuring fast load times and excellent usability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver new features.
• Improve system performance, monitoring, and developer experience across the stack.
• Drive technical design, code quality, and architectural improvements.
• Implement A/B tests and rollout strategies for new features.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across user-facing APIs.
• Review code, mentor teammates, and contribute to technical interviews.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and implementing full stack applications.
• Strong experience with Nuxt and Vue, and knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, and event-driven architectures (e.g., gRPC).
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code with a focus on performance.
• Comfortable balancing technical debt and business priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Independent, goal-oriented, and collaborative with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English skills.
• Located in one of the European time zones.
• Formal education in Computer Science or a related field.
