We are seeking a Senior Legal Adviser to enhance our Employment, Pensions & Remuneration practice. This role is ideal for individuals with legal services experience who possess a strong business development instinct and a commitment to advancing the practice through innovative approaches.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in legal services, a solid understanding of client needs, and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients alike. You will play a key role in our business development initiatives.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Act as a sparring partner for lawyers on employment law, pensions, and remuneration matters.
• Actively participate in business development activities, including pitches and client events.
• Maintain a knowledge base of precedents, draft memoranda, develop templates, and assist in client presentations.
• Stay updated on developments in employment, pensions, and remuneration law and collaborate with lawyers on relevant matters.
• Drive innovation within the practice and share best practices among legal advisers.
• Utilize AI and legal technology tools to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Coach and mentor junior associates and legal advisers within the team.

We currently have two vacancies for the Legal Adviser position, one focusing on a Commercial/Pragmatic Profile and the other on an Academic Profile. Both will work closely together, contributing their unique strengths to the practice group, alongside other legal advisers in the broader Legal Operations department, which aims to optimize legal service delivery to clients.

Vereisten

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a lawyer or counsel, preferably focused on employment law, pensions, and/or remuneration, ideally within a larger law firm.
• Broad and up-to-date knowledge of Dutch employment law, pensions law, and/or remuneration regulation.
• Motivated to contribute to business development and client relationship management.
• Innovative, self-starting, sociable, and assertive with all organizational levels.
• Well-organized, hands-on, and dedicated.
• Strong writing skills, excellent command of English, and working knowledge of Dutch.
• Proficient in IT and AI tools.
• Good communication skills and a team player capable of connecting across the firm.
• Results-driven and commercially minded with an eye for opportunities.
