The Role

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take full ownership of quality assurance for our web products, including our website and web checkout. This is a greenfield opportunity where you'll design and implement the testing framework, ensuring that our releases are production-ready.

Responsibilities

• Own web QA for the website, web checkout, and upcoming B2B/Enterprise product, ensuring thorough validation.
• Collaborate with product, developers, and design teams to clarify requirements and testing needs.
• Design and execute regression, smoke, end-to-end, and integration tests for every release.
• Enhance test automation for web flows, contributing ideas on tools and best practices.
• Analyze issues beyond surface-level reporting to provide actionable insights for faster resolutions.
• Integrate AI tools into the QA workflow, including automating Jira ticket creation.
• Conduct manual testing where automation is not feasible.

Requirements

• Solid experience in testing web products, particularly in customer-facing flows like checkout.
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including various testing types and bug tracking.
• Hands-on experience with web test automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
• Analytical mindset focused on understanding root causes of issues.
• Strong autonomy in planning testing cycles and identifying coverage gaps.
• Curiosity about leveraging AI for workflow improvements.
• Experience with Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Jira and X-ray or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with weekly releases.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• SQL or basic querying skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Exposure to accessibility or web performance testing.
• Experience in establishing QA processes from scratch.
