The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer, Developer Tools to enhance our automation of key engineering processes, including builds, testing, and deployments. Your contributions will help our engineers work more efficiently and deliver high-quality software faster.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new automation services while evolving existing ones.
• Build internal tools and services to enhance developer productivity and streamline workflows.
• Improve build tooling for faster, more reliable, and maintainable infrastructure.
• Optimize GitLab pipeline performance for better efficiency and stability.
• Address a growing backlog of automation requests from engineering teams.
• Provide support and maintenance by troubleshooting issues and fixing bugs.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience in software engineering and maintaining production services.
• Strong proficiency in Python, the primary language for service development.
• Familiarity with automating workflows through integration with internal services such as GitLab and Jira.
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
• Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of networking and operating systems.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CMake, Conan, Ninja, or similar build tools.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Jenkins experience (Groovy).
