As a social psychiatric nurse, you play a vital role in acute psychiatric care. You will perform triage, assess patient conditions alongside a physician and psychiatrist, and provide appropriate interventions and treatments. Working outreach in the Rivierenland region, you will respond when there is a risk to the patient or their environment. Your expertise in psychiatric conditions and suicidality will be essential as you de-escalate situations and make decisions that directly affect patient wellbeing.

You will work at Pro Persona Rivierenland in Tiel, a small location with about 150 staff members. The crisis team consists of 21 FTEs and is characterized by short lines of communication and an informal atmosphere. You will collaborate with colleagues who know and support each other, as well as with partners like Iriszorg, focusing on treating clients at home and preventing hospitalization whenever possible.
