The Role

As a Technical Operator, you will allocate workmen to various workstations on a shift basis and ensure continuous operation without delays due to manpower shortages or machine breakdowns. You will supervise line operations and participate in validation activities according to established protocols.

Responsibilities

•

Allocate workmen for different workstations on a shift-to-shift basis.

•

Ensure no stoppage of operations or machines due to manpower unavailability or breakdowns.

•

Supervise line operations and participate in validation activities as per protocol.

•

Maintain c-GMP practices and documentation across various records.

•

Fill in process parameters and manufacturing documentation.

•

Involve in the manufacturing and documentation of pilot batches in compliance with cGMP.

•

Participate in the manufacturing and documentation of trial, pre-exhibit, exhibit, and commercial batches.

•

Fill and check BMR before submission to superiors.

•

Handle minor parametric setting issues in various machines and products.

•

Monitor machine speed and output according to run time.

•

Provide on-the-job and classroom training to workmen and supervisors on SOP and cGMP systems.

•

Conduct induction activities for new joiners.

•

Randomly check compressed tablets, coated tablets, and filled capsules; report discrepancies to superiors.

•

Monitor and report unauthorized movement of workmen from the line.

•

Assume responsibilities of the immediate supervisor in their absence.

•

Verify balances daily and monthly.

•

Participate in machine qualification activities.

•

Check calibration tags of equipment, instruments, and fire extinguishers for due dates.

•

Engage in SFTI and 5S activities.

•

Knowledge and involvement in ISO 14000 and 13485.

•

Perform any other activities as assigned by the supervisor or company.

•

Check line clearance during batch changeovers.

•

Conduct in-process testing as defined in Batch Manufacturing Records.

•

Perform summaries after completion of subprocesses like compression and coating.

•

Review quality documents.
