Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual fine-dining Indian restaurants that provides exceptional food, service, and ambiance across various cities in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dish preparation, and maintaining stock levels.

The Role

As a Chef, you will work independently, supported by one or two part-time assistants. Your daily tasks will include supervising and preparing dishes, managing stock and orders, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. You will also be involved in menu composition and optimization processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and prepare dishes according to regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.) and work instructions (recipes, etc.)
• Ensure efficiency in kitchen processes and maintain guest satisfaction through quality preparation
• Manage stock levels, submit timely orders, and ensure proper storage following the FIFO principle
• Conduct cleaning and tidying activities as per schedule and safety regulations
• Provide improvement proposals and optimize kitchen operations
• Handle adverse circumstances, including physical demands and potential risks in the kitchen environment

Requirements

• Permanent residence in EU/EEA/Switzerland
• MBO Level-3 in Horeca
